ATLANTA – The SCAD Atlanta men's tennis team remains undefeated in conference play with a notable 7-2 win over Milligan College. The 7-2 win over the Buffaloes moves SCAD Atlanta to a 6-4 overall record and a 3-0 record in conference play this season.

After dropping the #1 doubles match to the Buffaloes, the Bees team of Chandler Saunders and Alex Maeda rallied back to take a 9-8 win at the two spot to even the score.  The Bees went on to take a 2-1 lead as Joseph Dwyer and Julian Guzman breezed to an 8-2 victory at the doubles number 3 spot. In singles, the men were even more impressive.  Junior Julian Guzman and freshmen Chandler Saunders led the way with their dominating wins in straight sets at #1 and #3 singles respectively. Joseph Dwyer prevailed with a 7-6, 6-2 victory at #2 singles. Alex Maeda and freshman Kyle Craig finished out the singles dominance with wins at the #4 and #5 singles positions.

Coach Glen Hill had this to say about the win:

"The men responded well to the Warner result, bouncing back with a very solid win here. Although we dropped the first doubles line, the outcome never looked in doubt as we put in a very strong singles showing. We've put ourselves in the driver's seat for the Conference today and if everyone can stay healthy and focused there's no reason we can't stay there."

The Bees return to action on Wednesday, April 2 as the host Reinhardt at the Bitsy Grant Tennis Center.
