ROME, GA – SCAD Atlanta Women's Tennis player
Shalimar Talbi and
Adrianna Kluska competed the last few days at the ITA Cup. The Cup is the one of the most difficult tournaments of the fall season, featuring the best players of the NAIA. After winning at ITA Regionals, Talbi qualified to play singles, and with Kluska, also qualified to play doubles. The Bees were ranked in the second spot for both singles and doubles going into the tournament, giving them more of a favorable draw and setting high expectations.
In women's singles, Talbi progressed to the final and finished as the runner-up, ranking her as the #2 ranked singles player for the NAIA.
The duo of Talbi and Kluska continued their impressive performance in women's doubles, where they won over Keiser University's Violet Apisah and Patricia Apisah. Talbi and Kluska finished the fall season with a #1 ranking in the nation for the NAIA for doubles.
