Will Karim races the 8K at the Louisville Cross Country Classic

Bees Take on 24th Annual Louisville XC Classic

QUICK LAP: The SCAD Atlanta Men's and Women's Cross Country teams raced at the 24th Annual Louisville Cross Country Classic in Louisville, Kentucky this past weekend. Hosted at historic E. P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park, the women hit the grass in the 6K, while the men raced the 8K.  

Race day in Louisville is divided into three different races, Gold, Blue and Silver, with each race bringing high levels of competition. The Bees were in the Blue races, which boasted fellow NAIA and high-ranking NCAA Division II and III programs. Out of 47 teams, the women placed 25th with junior Avery Raymond finishing in 19th place. On the men's side, the team raced to 15th place out of 41 teams.
