QUICK LAP: The SCAD Atlanta Women's Track and Field teams had two individual qualifiers who participated in the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, Katie Clarke and Avery Raymond. The duo both qualified in the 10,000 Meters, with Clarke also securing a spot in the 5,000 Meters.

Graduate student Katie Clarke is no stranger to the Outdoor National Championships; she qualified in the 10K back in 2021. Heading into Nationals, she is a 7 time All-American. Avery Raymond qualified for the Outdoor Championships for the first time, but is well acquainted with championship racing, after qualifying for Cross Country Nationals in 2023 and 2024, and Indoor Nationals this year.

In the 10,000 Meters race, the competition brought the fastest race since 2019, with the top ranked women being close to the 34-minute barrier. Katie Clarke raced to a personal record and a sixth place finish, earning All-American Honors for the eighth time.
