Locust Grove, GA – The Bees delivered a strong performance at the Heron Bay Golf Club on Tuesday, hosting the SCAD Cup at the Heron Bay Golf & Country Club course. Despite it beinga 6500 yard, par-72 tournament, it was shortened by two rounds due to cold and windy conditions. The Bees did not let the weather affect them, with the women securing a first place win, with the men finishing 4th.

Mariana Herrera played a three hole playoff, featuring a great par save on the first and two well fought holes after. She tied the lead after a rough start with a triple bogey on her second hole, losing in the playoff to finish second. Junior
Holly Lau placed third with freshman
Amanda Jurander following to earn fifth, placing 3 Lady Bees in the top-5. Freshman
Brian Berta finished T3, just 2 spots and 6 strokes behind the NAIA number one ranked men's golfer, Sam Dykema. Santiago Pereyra rounded out the team, taking 8th.

WHAT'S NEXT? On March 24th, Men's Golf team will return to the green at the University of Northwestern Ohio for the UNOH Southern Kickoff classic. The Women's team will play at the Roadrunner Invitational at the Nob North Golf Course in Cohutta, GA on March 30th and 31st.
