Nicholas Daigle

Nicholas “KnicNicks” Daigle was hired in February 2022 as SCAD's Head Coach of Esports. In August 2025, he transitioned into a focused role as the League of Legends Coach.
 
Daigle earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Texas Tech University in 2021, where he competed for three seasons with Tech Esports. During his athlete career, he reached the rank of Grandmaster in League of Legends Solo Queue, an achievement held by only the top 0.05% of players worldwide.
 
At Texas Tech, Daigle advanced from player to Head Coach while also serving as Esports Club President, leading both competitive teams and community initiatives. He later contributed to Cloud9 Training Grounds as a Specialist and Team Coach, focusing on player development. During his time at Cloud9, Daigle worked with more than 250 athletes to refine their skills and competitive performance.

Under his leadership, SCAD earned a Top 16 national finish in 2024 College League of Legends and secured consecutive Sun Conference titles in Overwatch.
 
Having spent much of his childhood in Singapore, Daigle brings an international perspective to his work, though he still considers Houston, Texas his hometown.
