Michael McNeely was named the head coach for both the Men and Women’s Bowling teams in Fall 2017. A USBC Silver Level certified coach, McNeely bowled collegiately at Bethel University in McKenzie, Tennessee for four years. Coach McNeely graduated from Bethel in 2014, earning his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education.
Prior to coming to SCAD Atlanta Athletics, Coach McNeely served as graduate assistant at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Coach McNeely's time at Cumberlands was filled with several highlights. The men’s team captured the Mid-South Conference Championship title in the Spring of 2017. Additionally, Coach McNeely assisted the women's team to several important victories - two team tournament wins as well as the Mid-South Conference Singles and Mid-South Conference Doubles titles. Additionally the JV program had great success, with the Men's and Women's JV Teams each taking two titles in their divisions.
