Glen Hill

Glen Hill was named Athletic Director at SCAD Atlanta in February 2016, after a 12 year career in coaching collegiate tennis in which he compiled a 186-95 career record in the NCAA and NAIA.

Hill's collegiate career began at NAIA instutition Southern Polytechnic State University, where he was a standout tennis player in both singles and doubles. After graduating summa cum laude with a 4.0 G.P.A in Physics, Hill went on to complete a Master's Degree in Materials Science Engineering at Georgia Tech.

Hill began college coaching with the Emory University Women's Team, and was the Assistant Coach for two national team titles, 2 national singles titles and 2 national doubles titles in 2004 and 2005. From there he took over as the Head Tennis Coach at Agnes Scott College, in Great South Athletic Conference.

Over the next 4 years, Hill took Agnes Scott from the bottom of their conference to the first of what would mark 5 straight Conference Championships at Agnes Scott. In addition he led the team to its first ever National Championship appearance in 2009 - followed by appearances again in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. Hill would leave Agnes Scott with a career record of 16-3 in Conference tournament play. He served also as Associate Athletic Director at Agnes Scott.

In Hill's first season at SCAD Atlanta he took the women to a record high of #15 in the national rankings on their way to the first appearance at the NAIA National Championships in school history. He would follow this up with an Appalachian Athletic Conference Championships for the men's team in 2014, bringing them to a school-history high of #14 on their way to the round of 16 at the National Championships. The women's team would clinch their first Appalachian Athletic Conference Championship under his leadership in 2015 as they again returned to Nationals.

During his time as Athletic Director, Hill has overseen the addition of three new sports - Bowling, Cycling, and Fencing. His tenure has seen the Atlanta athletic teams win multiple individual national championships, and place a SCAD fencer in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Hill was named to the Agnes Scott College Athletics Hall of Fame in 2024 in acknowledgment of his accomplishments as a coach.
