Men’s tennis opens its season with 7-2 loss to ABAC

ATLANTA, Georgia – The SCAD Atlanta men’s tennis team opened their inaugural season with a 7-2 loss to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC).

Playing No. 2 singles, sophomore Joseph Dwyer, a B.A. television producing student, notched the only singles point for the Bees. He defeated ABAC’s Martin Regan 6-4, 1-0 (def.).

In doubles, Dwyer teamed with first-year B.F.A. advertising student Jack Anton to win SCAD Atlanta’s second team point as they defeated ABAC’s tandem of Tom Reynolds and Derrick Taylor.
