ATLANTA – The SCAD Atlanta women's tennis team experienced its first conference loss of the season to #21 Milligan. The 7-2 loss to the Buffaloes moves SCAD Atlanta to a 3-1 record in conference play this season.

The Bees continued their dominance at #1 doubles as Lee-Anne Lingo and Paula Peters remained undefeated. However, Milligan proved to be too strong as they won all remaining matches except #2 singles.  Senior Paula Peters had an impressive day by winning at doubles with Lee-Anne Lingo and then winning her #2 singles match.

Coach Glen Hill had this to say about the loss:

"Milligan played well today and deserved the result. Lee-Anne Lingo and Paula Peters remained undefeated at first doubles, but we couldn't quite get over the finish line on the other two. Once we put ourselves in the hole, it gets hard to climb out especially on the road. We learned some important things today, and will bounce back stronger for our next match."

The Bees return to action on Wednesday, April 2 as the host Reinhardt at the Bitsy Grant Tennis Center.
