Atlanta, Ga. - Avery County High School senior Addison Rudicile has put pen to paper committing to play for SCAD Atlanta women's golf in Fall 2020. Hailing from North Carolina, SCAD was a natural fit for Addison. Already heavily involved in media at her school, Rudicile works doing video creation for the high school football team. A four year varsity golfer at her school, Addison has been a team captain the past two years.

"I chose SCAD because of the opportunities to grow as both an artist and an athlete," Rudicile had to say about her decision. "I had the opportunity to attended Summer Seminar and met people from all over the world. Everyone was so friendly, encouraging, and so passionate for what they do." Addison explained how being on campus helped finalize her choice. "I toured both the Savannah and Atlanta location and loved them both, but Atlanta was the one for me. The opportunities in Atlanta are endless for someone like me planning to major in film studies."

Addison comes to SCAD having created a positive legacy in her high school career, both on and off the course. The school's Social Media Coordinator and Strength Coach, TC Guyer said "she is a wonderful student and I feel like she would be a great addition to your team." Athletics Director Glen Hill couldn't agree more. "Addison made a positive impression from the beginning. Sher brings a lot of positive energy to every interaction, and it's easy to see why she was a leader on her high school team. I look forward to seeing her develop as a player and as a creative professional as a part of the SCAD family."
