QUICK LAP: The SCAD Atlanta Track and Field teams had a split squad this past weekend, with a trio racing locally at the Dooley Elite Meet, hosted by Emory University. The meet provided one more opportunity for athletes to hit qualifying marks for the Appalachian Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The competition brought several NCAA DII schools and fellow Appalachian Athletic Conference schools to Atlanta.

• 3000 Meter Steeplechase — 12:23 (2nd)

Corinne Sherwin (Cary, NC / Interior Design)

• 800 Meters — 3:00 (22nd)

Ashlyn Vandlandingham (Hebron, Ky. / Animation)

• 800 Meters — 2:16 (3rd)

WHAT'S NEXT? The SCAD Atlanta Track and Field Teams will take two individuals, Katie Clarke and Avery Raymond, to the Fast Break Invitational, hosted by Lee University, on April 11^th. The pair will be opening in their season debuts in the 10,000 Meters.
