Mill Spring, NC – The SCAD Atlanta Men's and Women's Track and Field teams hit the road to compete at the Tryon Banked Invitational this weekend. It was the first collegiate meet hosted at the Tryon International Facility. A temporary track was constructed in the arena, which usually serves as an indoor equestrian facility able to host up to 3000 people. This potential drew many colleges to the track, providing the Bees with competition from fellow NAIA and NCAA DII teams to help push athletes to earn more Appalachian Athletic Conference qualifying marks. The meet was filled with strong performances as the last opportunity of compeition before the Indoor Conference meet in 3 weeks.
