Gaffney, SC – The Bees teed off the Pioneers Invitational, a two-round tournament hosted by Spartanburg Methodist College, on February 23rd. The course was 6953 yards, a par-72, and played in two 18 hole rounds. Facing tough, windy conditions, SCAD Men's Golf was down 3 shots as a team in the first round. After putting up a fight, the team tied for second going into the final round. The Bees had the lead with 9 holes to play, and shot +48, placing 6th out of 15 teams. In a noteworthy performance, Freshman
Brian Berta finished solo 9th out of 87 players.
