Miami, FL – The Bees traveled to Florida for their second match of Spring Break to compete against Barry University, the strongest tennis program in the nation for NCAA DII. Barry's teams are ranked #1 in the country for the NCAA and have won the last National Championships, providing SCAD with an incredible opportunity to compete against such a high caliber opponent and be in a good position to win the matches. Going into the match, SCAD Women's Tennis was ranked #7 in the NAIA while Men's Tennis was ranked #23. Despite the women's team losing 4-2 and the men's team losing 4-0, both teams put up a strong front against Barry. It is a feat to go toe-to-toe and match up against the #1 team in the NCAA DII.
