Pikeville, KY – The Bees closed their last conference match of the season with an assertive victory against the University of Pikeville on Saturday, April 11th. SCAD Women's Tennis won after UPike Women's Tennis forfeited the tournament due to being short a player. Meanwhile, SCAD Men's Tennis traveled up to the Kentucky Mountains and prevailed through a rocky tournament featuring questionable calls, and racket, ball, and verbal abuse that were not called due to the absence of an official. They closed out the tournament with a comfortable 6-1 victory against Pikeville, finishing second behind Tennessee Wesleyan University, the No.2 team in the nation. The Bees will have the opportunity to face TWU and Pikeville again at the AAC Conference Championship on April 20th.
