Cleveland, TN -- A small group of Bees headed to Lee University for the Lee University Last Chance Meet. The race provided some very high level competition, allowing athletes to take full advantage and snag some last minute personal records or National qualifying times.

Avery Raymond did just that in the 5,000 Meters, finishing 6th place and securing her spot at the NAIA National Championships, in addition to her 10K qualifying mark. This is the last regular season meet for the Bees, before heading to the National Championships.

WHAT'S NEXT? Avery Raymond heads to Asheville, NC to race at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships on May 20th to 22nd. Raymond has qualified in the 5,000 Meters and the 10,000 Meters. This is her second time qualifying in the 10K and first time qualifying in the 5k.
