Dane Anger
Assistant Golf Coach – SCAD Atlanta Men’s & Women’s Golf
Dane Anger is in his third year of collegiate coaching, bringing a blend of competitive experience, player development, and behavioral science to the SCAD Atlanta golf programs. Before joining the Bees, Dane spent 2½ years as an assistant coach at Colorado Mesa University, where he played a key role in elevating the Maverick men's program to national prominence.
During the 2021–22 season, Dane helped guide Colorado Mesa to a historic milestone: the men's team qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championship at TPC Michigan for the first time in program history. As a player, Dane is a two-time runner-up at the Colorado West Amateur, reflecting both skill and consistency in high-level amateur competition.
Dane’s professional career also includes impactful work in the mental-health and behavior field. He served as a clinical case manager in Denver, supporting individuals with complex psychological needs, and later as a registered behavior technician at an autism center in Grand Junction. His background in human behavior, communication, and mindset coaching strongly influences his approach to player development.
Dane earned a BA in Counseling Psychology from Colorado Mesa University in 2022, followed by a Master of Education in 2025. His coaching style blends technical fundamentals, competitive preparation, and a strong emphasis on mental performance—helping student-athletes thrive on the course, in the classroom, and in life.
