WAVERLY, Ga. – The SCAD-Atlanta men's golf team finished in ninth place at the 12th Annual Coastal Georgia Winter Invitational on Tuesday.

COURSE DETAILS:

• The Golf Club at Sanctuary Cove
• 7123 yards and is a par 72.
• 15 teams
• 88 individuals

TEAM SCORE:

• The Bees shot an 945 (+81) to place 9th overall.
• No. 7 Coastal Georgia won the event after shooting an 884 (+20) and No. 3 Southeastern shot an 887 (+23) to come in second.

INDIVIDUAL SCORES:

• Senior Matthew Payne led the SCAD-Atlanta Bees with an individual score of 234 (79,78,77) for a tie for 35th.
• Freshman Valentino Forcellini bounced back from a tough first round to finish tied for 37th with rounds of 81, 79, 75 for a total of 235.
• Senior Miguel Name finished with a three-round total of 239 (76,82,81) and a tie for 47th place.
• Rounding out the team were Seniors Sebastian Wernli and Antony Forcellini finishing in 54th and t-55th respectively. Wernli shot rounds of 84, 79 79 for a total of 242, while Forcellini finished with rounds of 85, 78, 80 with a total of 243.
