Palm Harbor, Flor. -- The SCAD Atlanta Men's and Women's Golf teams competed this weekend at the Invite at Innisbrook. The end of September weather provided ideal conditions for the players. Since their last tournament, the women's team has moved up to being ranked #6. Innisbrook brought 14 teams to the green, 4 of which are ranked in the Top 10 of the NAIA.
Amanda Jurander and
Holly Lau showed out, tying for 5th place. Senior
Charlotte Huynh had her first top-10 finish, taking 9th place, and finishing 4 spots ahead of the defending champion of Innisbrook.
On the men's side, there were several top-20 ranked teams from the NAIA. The SCAD Atlanta Men's Golf team is currently unranked. First-year
Brian Berta continues to put forth high marks, finishing tied for 8th place.
