Bees Take On NAIA Cross Country National Championships in Florida

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Over 300 participants toed the line for the Women's 6k and the Men's 8k this weekend at the NAIA Cross Country National Championships in Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahasee, Florida. The race featured the best teams in the NAIA, all competing to take home the Championship title. After qualifying in recent years, Paul Moore, Trent Wells, and Will Karim were ready to compete against the best of the best again. Senior Cormac Dow's years of hard work paid off in his first NAIA National Championship appearance. Avery Raymond, Ashlyn Vanlandingham and Meredith Larkworthy are no strangers to the high level of competition at this race, after qualifying last year with the entire women's team.

Junior Avery Raymond led the charge for the women, placing 45th, just shy of All-American honors, for an impressive end to her season. Senior Will Karim also broke into the top 100, finishing 89th.

DID YOU KNOW? This was the most amount of men from SCAD Atlanta to have has qualified for the NAIA National Championships!

WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will open the Indoor Track and Field season in January 2026.
