QUICK LAP: The SCAD Atlanta cycling team competed in the Chewcla Mountain Bike Race in Auburn, AL on October 5th and 6th, 2024. This weekend SCAD Atlanta showed its depth and fitness stomping the field both days in both the women's and men's cross country as well as respectable showings in the downhill events.

RESULTS:

• Gabe Payne (Sophomore / Austin, Tex.) – 1st in XC, 2nd in XCC
• Sam Mayer (Sophomore / Franklin, Tenn.) – 3rd in XC
• Inno Zavyalov (Freshman / Minneapolis, MN) – 4th in XCC
• Maria Döring (Graduate Student / Großschönau, Germany) – 1st in XC, 1st in XCC, 2nd in DS

WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees head to the Southeastern Cycling Conference Mountain Bike Championships on October 12th and 13th in Brevard, North Carolina.
