QUICK LAP: The SCAD Atlanta cycling team competed in the Lees-McRae Mountain Bike Race in Banner Elk, NC, taking on a variety of challenging mountain biking events as they continue their quest for MTB Nationals. Our riders showed determination and strength across multiple events, securing some strong finishes against tough competition. Maria Döring secured first places finishes in Cross Country and first in Short Track Cross Country.

RESULTS:

• Maria Döring (Creative Buisness Leadership / Großschönau, Germany) – 1st in XC, 1st in Short Track (XCC)
• Gabe Payne (Industrial Design / Austin, Tex.) – 8th in XC, 4th in Short Track (XCC)
• Sam Mayer (Advertising / Franklin, Tenn.) – 22nd in XC, 16th in Short Track (XCC)
