10/29/2025 12:42:00 AM

Adairsville, GA -- Despite rain and cold weather for the two days of competition, the SCAD Atlanta Men's Golf team delivered an outstanding performance, placing 5th out of 14 teams at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Fall Preview. Hosted by the University of Pikeville, 14 teams from the AAC competed on the green at Barnsley Gardens, a par-72, 6,966 yard course. Going into the tournament, the Bees were unranked.

The weather provided some challenges, canceling the first round and causing the tournament to turn to 36 holes. However, the Bees were resilient, with first year Pierce Long playing his best college tournament score and taking 21st place at 11 over par. SCAD Atlanta Men's Golf posted a final score of +54. After their final tournament of the fall season, the team is ranked 39th in the nation.
